What a great way to end 2019 and start 2020. We had a family holiday from Manila, London, and New York for 4 days and 4 nights. Villa Kemala and the staff has been a wonderful haven… we do not want to leave!!
The house if very beautiful and peaceful, with the pool and the garden being especially nice. The numerous lounge areas make for a great atmosphere in any situation, and have led to some fun occasions. Despite these highlights, the true outmost quality of the house is undoubtedly the fantastic staff, who were always cheerful and polite as they helped us navigate our trip (ordering taxis, offering food / room tidying, etc.). Furthermore the food cooked by the chef was nothing short of restaurant level and we found ourselves eating in the villa rather than out of it many times! Thank you!!

What an amazing 5 nights my family spent in this gorgeous villa. The villa surpassed our expectations in its cleanliness, peaceful & homely feel, the lovely pool & the warm staff! We really need to extend a big thank you to Putu, Iluh, Gede, Arif, Kadek, Chef Agus for their un-intrusive yet very attentive care for us. Dear Kemala, Three generations of Palmers from Sydney Australia have had a truly sublime seven days at your villa. Beautiful gardens + pool, fantastic pool room (big pool competition every night!), spectacular bedrooms and bathrooms. Dear Kemala Team, We stayed here for 6 nights. What an amazing experience we had. The villa was amazing. The kids had fun at the pool, Jacuzzi and made use of the Wii system in the entertainment room. The whole family bonded over the breakfasts, lunches and dinners made by Chef Agus. Food was of high standard. The furniture and fittings were good. The staff of this villa has been exceptional. Special mention for our butler, Mr. Yogi and housekeeping Ibu Iluh. Dearest TEAM KEMALA, a very BIG THANK YOU for making the first ever GAM/TOMLINS family holiday such a memorable and special one! We were thoroughly spoilt during our too-short 5-day stay here, & everyone is already asking: “When can we come again?” The villa is absolutely stunning – gorgeous bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms, spacious living & dining areas, wonderfully maintained pool, gardens and activity areas. Our challenge was deciding where to spend out time!
But of course, what made our time here special was the wonderful team working tirelessly 24 hours a day to help us enjoy every moment of each day.

In true Balinese tradition, we were welcomed with warmth and sincerity. “Agus Bagus” – sublimely orchestrated delicious meals, paying attention to every detail. Kaded – waited patiently while the children surfed. Yogi, Putu and Iluh attended to our daily needs with such patience. Ketut, the gardener kept the garden impeccable. Nyoman and Kadek Ari, always ready to assist. Surian kept us safe at night. Last, but not least, Parti who ran the house with such professionalism!!

Wow! What a vacation! We loved our stay at Villa Kemala! The pool and gardens are lovely and the rooms beautifully decorated. Everything is perfect in this villa including the kind and courteous staff. They were truly fantastic and exceeded our expectations each day. Our stay at Villa Kemala would not have been the same without this very special team. They make this villa a true Bali oasis away from the busier parts of the island. We will never forget our stay. We have had the most amazing week in Bali. Two families (one from the US and one from Singapore) staying with a wide age range of 18 months – decrepit adults, and all of us have been looked after fantastically. Argus has driven us around the island and showed is some wonderful sites. The staff have prepared us delicious meals and even managed to cater for two birthdays while we were staying here. The rest of the staff has been wonderfully attentive, but beautifully discreet. Parti was great and even managed to find 4 of us a cooking day which we would highly recommend, especially if you want to experience a say away from tourist attractions and get to visit a real Balinese market. We will recommend Kemala to all our friends who venture to this side of the globe. Thank You.

We had the most fabulous time this holiday thanks to the attentive and friendly team under Parti, who also had excellent initiative and organizational skills. Dear Selena & The Team. Thank you so much for the good care and attention received at this beautiful villa. Staying here feels so comfortable it felt like home! Thanks to Parti, and her team and effort this stay was marvellous even when my son was teething, Parti could get a room at the villa as she was here till so late. The chef did a good job and we ate almost every meal at the villa. Only thing which bothering was a AC blowing right in the head and neck and we preferred to switch it off most time in order not to get trouble with baby health. We visit Bali every year in Dec-Jan and stay at many different villas, but it has to be said that management and the team played such a huge role I the quality of the holiday! Coming to this villa was not because of the villa/location, it was because of the best manager Parti whom we previously met at another villa. Thank You so much for coming along our way and since showing us that holiday could be such more accommodating and peaceful. We are here staying at Kemala Villa for 5 nights in Bali!. It is a very well maintained 2 year old villa in immaculate condition with the friendliest staff and chef and personal chauffeur. We have been staying here 4 nights now and have had several meals here and so far our best meals have been the one cooked by their in house chef. The staff are over pouringly friendly and the added services such as the cold towels that greet you after you come back from a day of shopping and the staff who are so gracious makes our stay here beyond any 6 star accommodation you will ever find in the world! We simply love it here in Bali because of our stay at Kemala Villa! The pool facility and large rooms and spacious private ensuite bathrooms make our stay a truly relaxing one! I chanced upon villa Kemala thru a facebook link, I was very lucky to be given a chance to stay in this beautiful villa. The decoration of the villa is tastefully done and the staff are just great, complimenting villa just a whole. Manager Oka is helpful, chef Agus cooks the most delicious meals, all the ladies were friendly and attended to our needs. We had a big group and all of us just love this place, I am strongly recommending this villa to my friends. We had a famility vacation and our wedding at the villa and it was beyond fabulous. The villa and staff were so welcoming, professional, warm and kind. The villa itself has everything you could hope for, beautiful products, great quality amenities and design, as well as super comfortable – no small thing was forgotten, unlike other places where occasionally the service or facility doesn’t match the price. The location for a wedding was perfect – overlooking rice paddies, a long cool pool and lawn area, yet close enough to town and echo beach sunset satays.

From the moment we arrived at Kemala we were all rather dumbstruck with the ambiance, the facilities and friendliness of the staff. If we were to rate this property we would give it a seven star.
Our arrival was somewhat “questionable” with the short rough driveway but when we actually turned into the property driveway the immediate reaction was WOW. I have never stayed in such an accommodating, comfortable property where nothing is too much trouble and we immediately felt like pampered welcome guests. It was a great stay. Definitely a very memorable place and our whole family was very impressed and enjoyed the stay. The villa is in great condition and so beautiful, It is very luxuriously designed and tastefully decorated. Amenities were provided equivalent to at least a 5 star hotel.
The service by the team has been impeccable. The helpers were attentive and courteous, the Chef did an excellent job in catering to your dietary needs and every dish was so delicious. The Villa manager was extremey professional and responsive to your need. They even have their own security guards to watch the villa and patrol the perimeter. Every morning we wake up to a different scenary. Having a shower at the outside, a true bliss! Yoga classes in the garden was a great way to start the day and then to finish our day with a great massage. Enjoying horse riding by the beach and the girls having fun at the waterbom – all made a great day. It is truly the most spectacular villa, beautiful furnishings and gardens, delightful bedrooms & the most tranquil and serene ambience throughout! Thanks you so much for providing such a magical experience for our stay in Bali, this is our first time here but it definitely won’t be the last! What an amazing beautiful place to stay, every part is so lovely and contributes to the great relaxing quality of the villa, thank you to all staff for making my time here so easy. Villa Kemala is the most beautiful place I have, and will probably ever stay! Every tiny detail has been thought of to make it the most enjoyable experience for all the guests, from the animal towels @ turn down service, out door shower, cold towel and delicious home made meals and breakfast. The staff were amazing always, so quick to meet any request we may have had, they really completed our experience staying at Villa Kemala. Every detail of Kemala has been thought of: The food, if you love Asian food – as we do – is equisite. The general sanctuary though is the villa’s strongest appeal. After a day amist the hustle of scooters, sales people, and hot beaches, Kemala’s position off the beaten track make arriving back a joy. We had five children here with us, we now have a major job in managing their future expectations! The team here were wonderful with them also. I am honoured to be one of the first guest at villa Kemala, what a haven, I slept beautifully and woke up joyfully to see wonderful views and to dive into the swimming pool !
